To extend safe service life for water-cooled nuclear power reactors of VVEP-1000 and VVEP-440 types by 4…5 years as a result of crack growth arresting in reactor vessels through heating vessel walls up to temperatures close to metal plastic deformation level with subsequent high-intensity cooling.
