PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The mineshaft in Polkowice-Sieroszowice is located to the east of Polkowice city in Dolny Śląsk (Niederschlesien). The shaft is operated to develop four copper and silver deposits. The development is performed using drill and blast tunneling method. The current annual production output of the mineshaft is estimated as 11 mil. tonnes of ore. In 2013 205 th. copper ore and 400 th. tonnes of silver ore were extracted, and 500 th. tonnes of salt as well.
