Sintering and roasting equipment

Sintering of iron ore and thinconcentrates before blast-furnace melting operation allows us to improve significantly engineering-and-economical performance of the blast furnace operation, increase its efficiency. Considerable capital costs for construction of iron-ore sintering plants and the costs associated with its operation are rather rapidly recovered by saving in coke and increase in iron smelting on preliminarily pelletized raw materials.

    At present time the industry uses two methods of pelletizing:iron-ore and concentrate sintering and iron-ore pellet production from concentrates. Fabrication of both main and auxiliary processing equipment was set up at enterprise for sintering and roasting production: mixers and coolers of sinter, pan pelletizers, conveyor units for feeding the bulk materials into sintering machines and uniform delivery of the raw materials in work process cycle, pallet and roasting cars, as well as a wide range of spare and replaceable parts.
