Throttle unit
Tightened throttle unit is designed to maintain the excessive pressure under the blast-furnace mouth by way of throttling the air stream with DN425 and DN1000 valves. The operating motors are used as valve drives.
The throttle unit consists of: valves of DN425 and DN1000 types installed on the bearing pipe and closed with the irrigation diffuser, as well as other valves according to the customer’s base data.
Manufacturing period: 150 days.
