Slag car with screw ladle tilting gear
Slag car with screw ladle tilting gear is designed for in-plant transportation of molten slag with temperature of up to 1600°C in the slag ladles with capacity of 11, 16 and 16,5 m3. The slag cars with capacity of 11 and 16 m3 are equipped with a round ladle of circular cross-section with a spherical bottom, and the slag cars with capacity of 16,5 m3 – with a ladle with oval cross-section. The slag cars with the ladles for blast-furnace slag and the ladles for steelmaking are produced.
The slag car consists of: bearing frame; railway carriages; ring support ladle; ladle tilting mechanism; automatic coupler.
